Praxis Customised Programmes
What are you an expert in?
Examining the personal, organisational and financial dynamics operating within a business.
This can be approached by working at a strategic level, with teams or with individuals.
What is it you are currently thinking about/care about in the world of work?
Getting individuals, teams and organisations to be as good as they can be. How ‘good’ is defined in this context, is revealing and interesting.
What would you like to see change in organisations?
In terms of business strategy initiatives, the development of an organisation’s people should be considered at the earliest planning stage and reviewed throughout.
It is an essential tool in the success of such initiatives, but is often overlooked or not adequately sponsored and resourced.
What is special about Praxis?
Its holistic approach.
Why does the programme you teach at Praxis matter in business?
The programmes challenge high fliers to think about their business in a different way. They gives delegates prompts, models, time and space to think about what they are contributing and what they could change.
The skills, behaviours and motivation of these high fliers are key to delivering the aims of the organisation. Prompting them to question, think and take action will have a direct impact on the business aims.
How would you describe your teaching style?
For me, the calibre of the participants I work with at Praxis means that an inclusive, relaxed style works best. They are bright people: we work together to learn and develop ideas. I prompt, question and provide ideas, but much of the learning is from each other.
