What are you an expert in?
Helping people reach their full potential and the ability to celebrate their lives.  At Praxis, I use creative visualisation as a catalyst towards self-discovery.
What is it you are currently thinking about/care about in the world of work?
I would like to see a more caring attitude to children, so that future generations would have a higher self-esteem and compassion to others.  This would lead to more harmony in the work place and thus to a more effective workforce and management.
What would you like to see change in organisations?
Work environments that foster valuing the self and others.
What is special about Praxis?
Praxis has a spiritual dimension that adds a missing ingredient to a business environment. It is both peaceful and dynamic.
Why does the programme you teach at Praxis matter in business?
They help people in business to achieve their full potential, therefore increasing the likelihood of organisational success.

Work Experience
RELATE, NMGC, 1987-1993
Relationship Counsellor.
Manulife Financial (Stevenage), 1989
I was a consultant counsellor until the firm relocated.
University of Hertfordshire, 1991-1993
I co-led an experiential group of students on the Diploma for Counselling course.
Hope House Project, Luton, 1993-1995
I ran a weekly therapy group for an alcoholic recovery programme.
Private Therapy Practice,
1988-current
In my private practice I work in three major areas:
I have a wide experience in relationship problems.
General counselling including experience in issues of low self-esteem and bereavement.
I have worked extensively with women suffering from eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia and compulsive eating). I am a referral counsellor for The Eating Disorders Association
I have worked with Praxis since 1995.
Working with personal development groups reflects my therapeutic work with individuals, couples and groups, which includes an emphasis on self-esteem.
Both these types of work centre on mechanisms for change, with an outcome of greater satisfaction and effectiveness.
Interests
Theatre, film, walking with our dogs and entertaining.
